Motherwell are aiming to win the Betfred Cup for just the second time when they face Celtic in Sunday's final at Hampden Park.

The Steelmen famously lifted the trophy in 1950/51 when goals from Jim Forrest, Archie Kelly and Willie Watters saw Hibernian beaten 3-0 by George Stevenson’s men.

Motherwell's last appearance in the final of this competition came in 2004/05 when David Partridge scored their goal in a 5-1 defeat to Rangers.

The Fir Park side are seeking their first major trophy since they famously beat Dundee United 4-3 after extra time in the 1991 Scottish Cup final.
