St Mirren boss Ian Murray hopes his side can build on their first win in the Ladbrokes Championship when they face Falkirk in Paisley on Saturday.
Saints defeated third-placed Queen of the South 2-0 at Palmerston at the weekend, thanks to first-half goals from Sean Kelly and Steven Thompson.
Murray told the club website: "The result, first and foremost, is the most important thing. If you put that into context, and add it to the performance, I thought the performance was excellent. We looked really dangerous from the first minute and it could have been a few more.
"It takes teams time to gel. There’s no doubt we’ll have another dip, that’s inevitable, but we’ve got two home games now and we’ll really try to take maximum points and kick on.”
