Cowdenbeath midfielder needs surgery on groin injury

Cowdenbeath midfielder Pablo Navas’ frustrating season has continued as the former Barcelona, Portsmouth and Athletico Madrid youth team player looks set for surgery to improve his groin injury.

The Spaniard has been restricted the to just four brief substitute appearances this season and has been missing since December with Central Park player/ manager Colin Cameron saying: “Pablo has never been able to get into his stride this season as he had a hip problem before this one. It looks like an operation will be required which will rule him out for a while longer.”
