Hearts boss Robbie Neilson has boosted his squad with the signing of Belgian midfielder Arnaud Djoum on a deal until January.
The 26-year-old left Polish side Lech Poznan in the summer and has also played for Roda in Holland and Akhisar Belediyespor in Turkey.
Neilson told the club website: "I’m pleased to get Arnaud in. He’s a good player with a good pedigree. He fitted in well with the group (in training) and he will be a great asset to us.
“He’s got power and he’s a good football player. He played in Belgium, Holland, Turkey and the top team in the top league in Poland so he’s got great experience. He’s got a lot of drive in midfield, which is something that we need.”
