Hearts manager Robbie Neilson has announced two more signings in the wake of the arrival of striker Robbie Muirhead.

Former Kilmarnock and Wigan forward Conor Sammon makes the move to Tynecastle from Derby County on a three-year deal while left-back Faycal Rherras has also penned a three-year contract after leaving Belgian side St Truiden.

Neilson told the Hearts website: "Conor knows the Scottish game well after a successful period at Kilmarnock and has played at the highest level in England.

“Faycal is a player with real potential and will be a big boost to the defence. He’s played at a good level in Belgium and has been involved in the Moroccan international scene so it’s quite a coup to get him."
