Cowdenbeath have parted company with manager Jimmy Nicholl in the wake of Saturday's relegation from the Championship.
The Blue Brazil finished bottom of the table after losing 3-0 to Alloa while Livingston survived thanks to a last-day win over Queen of the South.
Nicholl, who has also managed Raith Rovers, Millwall, Dunfermline and Hibernian and is No 2 to Northern Ireland boss Michael O'Neill, began his second spell at Central Park in November 2013.
Chairman Donald Findlay said: "It is with regret that I have today accepted the resignation of Jimmy Nicholl as manager of Cowdenbeath FC.
"I thank Jimmy for all his efforts on behalf of the Club. It has been a privilege working with him. We remain friends and I wish him and his family all the best for the future.”
