Berwick Rangers have agreed to allow forward Kenny O’Brien to join Lowland League club Vale of Leithen who have former Borderers Reserve team manager Mark Lamb in charge.
The 20 year old who joined from Alloa two years ago appeared in over 30 games for the Borderers, however he failed to force himself in player/ manager Colin Cameron’s plans for next season and had been transfer listed.
Cameron said: “Kenny wanted to play first team football on a regular basis and I could not guarantee that. Hopefully he will do well under Mark at Vale of Leithen.
