Operation goes well for Drummond

Diamonds defender has surgery on knee injury

Airdrie defender Grant Drummond had surgery on Wednesday to fix a knee problem that has kept him out for four months. The 19 year old was injured in a game against Dunfermline back in November however the procedure went well and manager Gary Bollan is looking forward to having the centre back in his plans for next season.

Bollan said: “Grant has a lot of potential and I look forward to having him fit and available for selection. It will be next season before he is available but he has a good future ahead of him in the game.”
