Premiership play-offs begin today

The Premiership play-offs get under way on Saturday when Queen of the South host Rangers at Palmerston, live on BT Sport at 5.30pm.

The second leg of the quarter-final takes place at Ibrox next Sunday and is also live on BT Sport, kick-off 3.30pm.

The winners of that tie face Hibernian over two legs on May 20 and May 23 for the right to play the team who finish 11th in the Premiership.

Queen of the South have already enjoyed two good home victories over Rangers, winning 2-0 in December and 3-0 last month, and James Fowler's team have won 13 of their 18 league games at Palmerston this season.

Stuart McCall's men head for Dumfries having drawn 2-2 against Hearts at Tynecastle last week and having finished the season seven points clear of Queen of the South.
