Here are some of the numbers behind the season so far:

5 Celtic's Leigh Griffiths is the leading scorer with five league goals, one more than Adam Rooney (Aberdeen), Liam Boyce (Ross County) and Juanma (Hearts).

0 Both leaders Celtic and second-placed Aberdeen - who have a game in hand - are yet to taste defeat this season. Celtic's only dropped points were in a 2-2 draw at Kilmarnock while the Dons have won five out of five, conceding just one goal in the process. The teams meet at a packed Pittodrie on Saturday, live on Sky Sports at 12.30pm.

12 Tynecastle, Celtic Park and Rugby Park were the best places to see goals in the Ladbrokes Premiership during August, with 12 scored in the three matches at each venue. In contrast, the three games played at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium saw just three goals scored.
