Anthony Stokes scored the only goal after six minutes and the home side had Simon Ramsden sent off midway through the second half.

Inverness CT are in second spot thanks to a 2-1 victory over Dundee at Dens Park. Greg Stewart opened the scoring for the Dark Blues but Billy McKay equalised and Ryan Christie grabbed a late winner for John Hughes' team.

Aberdeen are up to fourth place after beating Hamilton Accies 3-0 at Pittodrie with goals from Ash Taylor, Niall McGinn and Adam Rooney (penalty). The visitors had Jon Routledge sent off late on.

St Johnstone are just a point outside the top six following their 1-0 win away to St Mirren. Michael O’Halloran got the only goal after eight minutes in Paisley.

Partick Thistle and Kilmarnock shared the spoils at Firhill. Danny Seaborne earned the Jags a point after Killie had gone ahead through Tope Obadeyi.
