St Johnstone made sure of a top-six finish in the Scottish Premiership with a 1-0 win over Dundee at McDiarmid Park on Saturday.

Brian Graham's 26th-minute goal was the difference between the teams as Tommy Wright's men came out on top but Paul Hartley's side are also virtually certain to finish in the top half.

Chris Erskine struck 20 minutes from time as Dundee United won in the Premiership for the first time since January, beating Hamilton Accies 1-0 at Tannadice.

Leaders Celtic were held to a 1-1 draw by Inverness CT in the Highlands. Leigh Griffiths gave Ronny Deila's team the lead after three minutes but Edward Ofere equalised 60 seconds later.

Partick Thistle moved seven points clear of the relegation zone thanks to a 2-0 win over Motherwell at Firhill. Lyle Taylor got both goals in the second half and the visitors had Stuart Carswell sent off in the last minute.
