Stirling Albion manager Greig McDonald heaped praise on his players after they beat East Fife 2-0 at Bayview on Sunday to win promotion to League 1.
Goals from Jordan White and Sandy Cunningham in the last 16 minutes saw the Binos through 3-2 on aggregate with their fifth away win in a row.
McDonald said: "I told the players to play the game and not the occasion and they deserved it. We had to be patient but we defended magnificently.
"The players have given me everything this season and I'm delighted for them. They went to the very end and got their rewards.
"Sandy can light up a game from nothing when he comes on and it was a fantastic finish for the winning goal."
East Fife boss Gary Naysmith said: "It's the first time in my career that I have been relegated and it's a horrible feeling."
