Queen’s Park have added left back Ross Gallagher to their pool with head coach Gus McPherson delighted that his club have picked out the youngster from the amateur ranks.
Gallagher was playing with Pollok Amateurs last season and McPherson reckons that the defender has been one that has got away from senior clubs in the past.
McPherson said: “Ross is a big strong player and has a bit of pace about him as well. In fact he possesses all the attributes that you look for in a player and I am surprised that he has never been involved at a senior club before.”
“However their loss is our gain as I am sure that he will go on to establish himself in our first team this season.”
