Raith Rovers manager Gary Locke has signed French defender Jean-Yves M’Voto Owono on a one-year contract.
The 25-year-old was on the books of Paris St Germain and Sunderland earlier in his career and has also played for Southend United, Oldham Athletic and Barnsley.
He had a spell with Leyton Orient last season and arrives at Stark's Park after leaving Polish side Zawisza Bydgoszcz.
Rovers begin the new season with a Betfred Cup tie against Highland League champions Cove Rangers at Station Park on Friday night.
