Rangers and St Johnstone are both in Europa League first qualifying round, first leg action on Thursday evening, kick-off 7.45pm.
Pedro Caixinha's side welcome Progres Niederkorn of Luxembourg to Ibrox while Tommy Wright's men are up against FK Trakai of Lithuania at McDiarmid Park.
Rangers have added eight new players to their squad this summer in the shape of Bruno Alves (Cagliari), Ryan Jack (Aberdeen), Dalcio (Benfica, loan), Fabio Cardoso (Vitoria Setubal), Daniel Candeias (Benfica), Alfredo Morelos (HJK Helsinki), Eduardo Herrera (Pumas) and Carlos Pena (Guadalajara). They will play St Joseph's or AEL Limassol in qualifying round two should they beat Progres.
St Johnstone have so far brought in Kyle McClean (Nottingham Forest), Stefan Scougall (Sheffield United) and Scott Tanser (Port Vale) and will face IFK Norrköping or Prishtina if they progress.
