Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha has made Portugal defender Bruno Alves his first signing of the summer on a two-year contract.
The 35-year-old makes the move to Ibrox from Cagliari in Italy and can also count Porto, Zenit and Fenerbahce among his former clubs. He was part of the Portugal squad that won Euro 2016 and has been capped 89 times for his country.
He told the Rangers website: "I have this feeling and this desire to win and I think to move here will bring this back to me and to my career. At almost all the clubs I have played for I win, and I expect to win here for the fans and for the club."
