Group A
Both games ended all square - East Fife and Dundee drew 1-1 at Bayview, with Gary Naysmith's men picking up the bonus point for the shoot-out win while Forfar Athletic beat Dumbarton on penalties after a 2-2 draw at Station Park.

Group B
St Johnstone saw off Elgin City 3-1 at Borough Briggs but Falkirk were on the end of a shock 1-0 defeat to Stirling Albion at Forthbank.

Group C
Gary Warren grabbed the winner with 15 minutes left as Inverness CT beat Cowdenbeath 2-1 at Central Park. Dundee United were spot-kick winners on Friday night after a 1-1 draw at Arbroath.

Group D
Brian Graham's penalty with five minutes left saw holders Ross County earn a 1-0 victory away to Montrose while Raith Rovers beat Cove Rangers 2-1 on Friday night.

Group E
Queen of the South defeated Queen's Park 2-0 at the Excelsior Stadium on Saturday, with Partick Thistle having beaten Airdrieonians 1-0 at the same venue on Friday night.

Group F
Rangers won the all-Premiership encounter 2-0 against Motherwell at Fir Park thanks to second-half goals from James Tavernier and Martyn Waghorn while Stranraer claimed a 2-1 victory over Annan Athletic at Galabank.

Group G
Ayr United secured a fine 2-1 win over Hamilton Accies at Somerset Park while David Clarkson scored late on as St Mirren triumphed 3-2 at Livingston.

Group H
All the goals came in the second half as Kilmarnock defeated Clyde 2-1 at Broadwood and Morton came out on top in the shoot-out after a 0-0 draw at Albion Rovers.
