Everyone at the SPFL was saddened to learn of the death at the weekend of Robert Wilson, who was the first chairman of the Scottish Premier League.
Robert served from September 1998 until September 1999 before stepping down due to work commitments and being replaced by Lex Gold.
SPFL Chief Executive Neil Doncaster said: “Robert had a central role in the establishment of the SPL in 1998 and was well known in Scottish football circles. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends at this difficult time."
