Goalkeeper Danny Rogers has re-joined Falkirk on a season-long deal from Aberdeen after impressing for the Bairns last term.

The 22-year-old was a key player as Peter Houston's men reached the Ladbrokes Premiership play-off final, where they lost to Kilmarnock.

Rogers, who has been capped by the Republic of Ireland at U21 level, has also had previous loan spells at Airdrieonians and Dumbarton.

Houston told the Falkirk website: "The improvement in his game throughout last season was fantastic and I’m sure he will continue that development over the course of this season. You know what you get with Danny - a solid, hardworking goalkeeper and a great all-round character."
