Aberdeen beat Hamilton Accies 2-1 in Tuesday afternoon's Ladbrokes Premiership game at Pittodrie to move to within four points of Rangers.
Ash Taylor gave the third-placed Dons the lead after 34 minutes but Dougie Imrie equalised from the penalty spot just four minutes later.
Adam Rooney grabbed the winner from close range midway through the second half and Accies had Scott McMann sent off in stoppage time.
In the evening game, Hearts saw off Kilmarnock 4-0 at Tynecastle with goals from Callum Paterson, Arnaud Djoum and a Jamie Walker double.
