Ayr United have signed defender Michael Rose following his departure from Aberdeen at the end of last season.
The 20-year-old, who had a spell on loan to Forfar Athletic, joins fellow new recruit Paul Cairney at Somerset Park for 2016/17.
Boss Ian McCall told the club website: "I'm absolutely delighted to get this deal done as Michael was wanted by several other clubs.
"He is a highly-rated central defender who is a big presence in both boxes and I know that it was a tough decision by Aberdeen to let him go."
