Cammy Smith was the matchwinner as St Mirren defeated Dunfermline Athletic 1-0 at the Paisley 2021 Stadium to go two points clear at the top of the Ladbrokes Championship. Inverness Caley Thistle kept another clean sheet and leapfrogged Dumbarton with a 1-0 win in the Highland capital - Carl Tremarco scored the only goal.

Ayr United are eight points clear in Ladbrokes League 1 after hitting back to beat East Fife 4-1 at Bayview. Michael Rose bagged a double as Ian McCall's men took their tally for the season to 50 league goals. Angus Beith scored a late double as Stranraer beat Forfar Athletic 3-0 at Stair Park to jump to third place and bottom club Queen's Park drew 1-1 with Airdrieonians at Hampden.

Montrose have a six-point advantage in Ladbrokes League 2 following their 3-0 win against Elgin City at Links Park, with goals from Terry Masson, Andrew Steeves and Jamie Redman. Stenhousemuir climbed to third with a 2-1 victory away to Edinburgh City and it finished 1-1 between Annan Athletic and Stirling Albion at Galabank.

Six matches were postponed due to frozen pitches and Queen of the South v Dundee United at Palmerston was abandoned at half-time.
