Albion Rovers clinched the League 2 title with two games to spare after storming back to beat Clyde 3-2 at Broadwood on Saturday.

That result, coupled with Queen's Park's failure to win at Arbroath, saw Darren Young's team move seven points clear at the summit.

Clyde took a two-goal lead through Brian McQueen and David Marsh but Chris Cadden pulled one back and John Gemmell and Gary Fisher completed the comeback in the second half.

Second-placed Queen's Park netted an injury-time equaliser through Sean Burns in a 1-1 draw with Arbroath at Gayfield, with the hosts having gone ahead through Simon Murray.

East Fife remain in fourth spot despite losing 2-1 to Annan at Galabank. Nathan Austin cancelled out Ryan McStay's early goal but Martin McNiff won it in stoppage time for Jim Chapman's team.

Elgin's hopes of making the top four suffered a blow as they went down 2-1 to bottom club Montrose at Links Park. Jordan Allan and Graham Webster scored for Montrose, with Darryl McHardy hauling City level for a time.

Berwick Rangers leapfrogged East Stirlingshire thanks to a 4-0 win at Ochilview, courtesy of goals from Andy Russell, Kyle Wilkie, Blair Henderson and Lee Currie. Shire had Connor Greene sent off late on.
