Michael Dunlop got the only goal 17 minutes from the end as Darren Young's men came out on top at Somerset Park.

Champions Dunfermline were held to a 2-2 draw by ninth-placed Forfar at East End Park. Michael Moffat grabbed a double for the Pars, with Gavin Swankie and Andy Ryan on target for the Loons, who had Thomas O'Brien sent off in stoppage time.

Cowdenbeath claimed an important 2-1 win over bottom club Brechin at Central Park. Greig Spence's first-minute goal was cancelled out by Lewis Spence but Chris Kane struck for the Blue Brazil with five minutes remaining.

Alan Lithgow scored a last-minute leveller as Airdrieonians earned a 1-1 draw with Stenhousemuir at the Excelsior Stadium after the visitors had gone ahead through Alan Cook.
