Albion Rovers climbed to second place in the League 2 table with a convincing 4-0 win over Elgin City at Borough Briggs on Tuesday night.

Scott Chaplain and Michael Dunlop had Darren Young's side two goals in front after just 10 minutes and Chaplain added a third before the break.

Gary Phillips rounded things off early in the second half as Rovers leapfrogged Queen's Park, while Elgin remain a point behind East Stirlingshire at the foot of the table.
