Rovers defeat Hibs, QOS score six

Raith Rovers took a big step towards sealing a play-off place by beating Hibernian 2-1 at Stark's Park on Saturday evening.

Anthony Stokes gave Hibs the lead but Lewis Toshney equalised before the break and Mark Stewart struck early in the second period.

Queen of the South thrashed Dumbarton 6-0 at Palmerston, helped by doubles from Derek Lyle and Alex Harris. Darren Brownlie and Iain Russell were also on target for James Fowler's team.

Morton saw off bottom club Alloa 4-1 at Cappielow. Declan McManus, a Jason Marr own goal, Ross Forbes and Denny Johnstone scored for Jim Duffy's team. Kyle McAusland claimed a consolation for the Wasps.

Lawrence Shankland hit the winner as St Mirren overcame Livingston 3-2 at the Tony Macaroni Arena. Stephen Mallan (penalty) and Shankland twice had Saints ahead but Liam Buchanan and Jordan White replied.
