Albion Rovers have thanked the fans who turned out for Saturday's Scottish Cup victory over Stenhousemuir, which propelled the Coatbridge club into the quarter-finals for the first time in 80 years.
James Ward's League 2 side will now play Rangers at Ibrox next month and a statement on the club website read: "Everyone here at Cliftonhill would like to send our heartfelt thanks to those of you who turned out at the game.
"The encouragement and support from the terraces on Saturday was outstanding and played a pivotal role in helping to inspire the team and securing the unforgettable result - one which Coatbridge has not seen since the 1930s.
"Thank you very much for being a part of history. Now, let’s see if we, both as a club and a community, can go one better next month."
