Rugby Park set for Sunday showdown

Kilmarnock and Falkirk will contest the second leg of the Ladbrokes Premiership play-off final at Rugby Park on Sunday.

Kilmarnock and Falkirk will contest the second leg of the Ladbrokes Premiership play-off final at Rugby Park on Sunday.

The game is live on BT Sport with a 3.00pm kick-off and the visitors hold a 1-0 lead from Thursday's tie at the Falkirk Stadium, where Will Vaulks popped up with an injury-time winner.

Killie boss Lee Clark will give late fitness tests to Josh Magennis and Alex Henshall while Lee Miller could come into contention for Falkirk after being left on the bench for the first leg.

Clark said: "We must not panic. If we can get the one goal in the 90th minute we can take it to extra time. We need the fans' support and we don't want them to get frustrated if things aren't starting particularly well.”

Bairns boss Peter Houston said: "I'd say we were probably fortunate to win the first game. It gives us something to hold on to but we need to do a lot better on the ball."

There is no away goals rule in the play-offs so extra time, and penalties if required, will settle the outcome if the aggregate score is level.

The referee for Sunday's game is Willie Collum.
