Dundee United have signed defender Thomas Scobbie on a two-year contract after he left Tayside rivals St Johnstone.
The 29-year-old former Falkirk player joins Billy King and James Keatings ahead of the 2017/18 campaign, which kicks off with a Betfred Cup tie against Raith Rovers on Saturday July 15.
United boss Ray McKinnon told the club website: "Thomas is an excellent defender who can play both left-back and central and will enhance our defensive options.
“He is a real leader with plenty of experience and these are vital characteristics for me. We need to add more players and I expect to further add to the squad before pre-season begins.”
