Sheffield United have signed highly-rated Livingston midfielder Stefan Scougall on a contract until the summer of 2017.
The Scotland U21 cap had been linked with a number of clubs but has opted to join Nigel Clough's League 1 side at Bramall Lane.
Livingston boss John McGlynn told the club website: "We wish he could have stayed longer and we're also fully aware of how highly regarded Stefan is by the fans.
“However, this club prides itself on helping develop young players and we will not stand in his way as he progresses his career in the game."
