Morton’s summer signing from St Mirren, midfielder Jon Scullion, took his goal tally in the Greenock side’s Development League fixtures to seven in three games. Scullion hit hat-tricks in his first two outings against Clyde and then Dumbarton and was on target again in Monday night’s 2-2 draw with Queen’s Park.
Scullion opened the scoring with a penalty however Thomas Collins’ levelled from the spot before half-time. David McNeil headed the Greenock side in front after the break with Collins tying things up when he netted with the third spot kick of the night.
