St Mirren have signed striker Lawrence Shankland on a season-long loan deal from Aberdeen ahead of Saturday's home game against Livingston.
The 20-year-old former Queen's Park forward has had a previous loan spell with Dunfermline Athletic and has been capped by Scotland at U21 level.
Saints boss Ian Murray told the club website: "We've been after him for a while so to finally get him in is great for ourselves and for him - huge thanks to Aberdeen for their co-operation.
“He’s raring to get going and develop himself and this is an ideal place for him. His goal percentage is huge and he knows how to do it in a professional environment.”
