Hibernian striker Farid El Alagui recently returned to the side after a bad injury and is looking to help fire Alan Stubbs’ team back into the Premiership.
The former Falkirk and Dundee United forward moved to Easter Road from Brentford at the start of the season and is the latest player to go under the SPFL Spotlight.
What is the best goal you have ever scored?
That was my goal at the start of the season against Hearts. It was a volley from the edge of the box and I was really pleased with the connection I made with the ball. Unfortunately, we lost 2-1 but the enjoyment of my goal lifted my mood slightly.
What is the best game you have played in?
I have two favourite games and they have both been in Scotland. The recent Edinburgh derby when we won 2-0, and I scored, was a great day and I also remember very fondly the 3-2 Scottish League Cup win Falkirk had over Rangers in 2011 when I scored twice. The two of them were great games.
What is your favourite away ground?
I will say Celtic Park as that is a really big atmospheric ground and I played there with Dundee United on the last day of last season.
What is your favourite other sport?
I like both basketball and rugby. My brother plays a bit of basketball and I like to watch him do that. As for rugby, I watch the big international games and I have to say that France are doing better than Scotland are just now!
Which player in the world would you bring to Hibs?
I would be greedy and bring three. Zinedine Zidane and the two Ronaldos - the real one and the newer one! I was 13 when the World Cup was on in France 98 and I loved watching Zidane and Ronaldo. I remember being disappointed when Ronaldo did not have much impact in the final although I was pleased France won. The Real Madrid Ronaldo is the best current player but I’m not sure he is any better than my first two.
What is your favourite pre-match meal?
Pasta, pesto and avocado.
What is your favourite music?
I like a bit of everything but mostly soul and R&B, with French rap music on my list as well. Unfortunately, at Hibs Scott Allan does the music and it is best described as terrible!
Who is the biggest moaner you have played with?
I have to pick two as I cannot split Scott Allan and Liam Craig for this one! It has to be a joint award.
Who has been your most skilful team-mate?
In Morocco I played with Ayoub Skouma and what a player he was. He was full of tricks.
Who is your worst dressed team-mate?
There are loads of them at Hibs but the worst has to be Jason Cummings!
Who is the best trainer?
Scott Robertson works hard at everything he does.
Who is the best dancer?!
Simple - that has to be me!
Craig Stewart
