Craig Fowler selects his latest SPFL Team of the Week, with Dundee striker Kane Hemmings the star man after his hat-trick against Hamilton Accies.
GK - Danny Rogers (Falkirk)
Rogers described Saturday as his ‘happiest day in football’ after he pulled off three terrific stops, including an injury-time penalty save from Martyn Waghorn, to help Falkirk defeat Rangers 2-1 in a thrilling match in front of the BT Sport cameras.
DC - Stephen McManus (Motherwell)
The 33-year-old former Scotland international put in a towering performance at the back to help Mark McGhee’s Motherwell pull off a shock 2-1 victory over his old club Celtic at Parkhead.
DC - Igor Rossi (Hearts)
Hearts were forced to play the majority of their trip to St Johnstone with 10 men after Juanma saw red for a first-half head-butt. Thankfully for the visitors, Rossi and Blazej Augustyn have built up one of the country's most formidable central defensive pairings, and it was them, and the heroics of Neil Alexander, who enabled Hearts to escape with a 0-0 draw.
DC - Keith Watson (St Mirren)
The former Dundee United full-back moved into the centre alongside Andy Webster and played an important role in helping the visitors claim a vital victory at bottom club Alloa in front of new boss Alex Rae.
MR - Shane Sutherland (Peterhead)
Often thought of as a central attacker, Sutherland has been used out on the right recently and he certainly left a telling contribution on Peterhead's match with title challengers Ayr. The former ICT hitman came on as an early sub and netted twice in a thoroughly impressive 3-0 victory for the Blue Toon.
MC - Will Vaulks (Falkirk)
One assist, one match-winning goal and one tremendous celebration, it was certainly a great day for the Falkirk midfielder on Saturday. Aside from the highlights, Vaulks put in an imposing performance - he battled in the centre of the park and drove forward with the ball whenever possible.
MC - Kenny McLean (Aberdeen)
The midfielder notched up two assists in Aberdeen's 4-0 victory at Kilmarnock. The Dons now look back to their best after the recent blip and, if they can keep players like McLean in this type of form, the title race might just be back on.
MC - Andy Murdoch (Cowdenbeath)
The Rangers midfielder has been in excellent form since joining Cowdenbeath on loan. He not only kept up his recent good performances in the Blue Brazil's 3-0 home victory over Airdrie, he also scored an absolute peach of an effort.
ML - Niall McGinn (Aberdeen)
McGinn didn't miss a beat having come right back into the side following his absence from last week's victory over Hearts. He scored a fine opener at Rugby Park before putting in a superb ball for Adam Rooney to double the advantage.
FC - Kane Hemmings (Dundee)
The striker netted a hat-trick in Saturday's 4-0 drubbing of Hamilton Accies at Dens Park. The visiting backline just couldn't deal with the pace and strength of Hemmings whenever the ball was launched in his general direction and he completed an incredible trio of goals within 30 minutes. This week's star man.
FC - Louis Moult (Motherwell)
Consecutive weeks in the team for the darling of the Fir Park support. Moult's work rate and tireless running make him a nightmare to defend against, particularly a Celtic back four playing a high line on that big Parkhead pitch. The former Wrexham striker netted both goals, ensuring a victory Well fans will cherish for a long time.
