St Johnstone have signed Simon Lappin on a two-year deal ahead of Saturday's home game with Aberdeen.
The left-sided 31-year-old began his career at St Mirren before moving to Norwich City in 2007. He spent a number of years at Carrow Road, which included a loan spell at Motherwell.
Lappin was most recently with Cardiff City, from where he was loaned to Sheffield United, but he now links up with Tommy Wright's side.
