St Mirren have signed right-back Keith Watson until January following his departure from Dundee United at the end of last season.
The 25-year-old spent time on loan with Hibernian in 2014/15 and moves to Paisley after Jason Naismith was ruled out with a long-term injury.
Buddies boss Ian Murray told the club website: "Keith was someone we looked at a couple of weeks ago in terms of someone who could play several positions - once we knew we needed a right-back he was our first name."
Watson added: "I have done quite a bit of training with Hibs over the summer and was also in Aberdeen for a couple of weeks - and trained with them - so I think my fitness will be fine. I haven’t played any pre-season friendlies but hopefully I can get into the team."
