Long-serving Hibernian player Lewis Stevenson has signed a new contract that will keep him at Easter Road until the summer of 2017.
The 27-year-old, who has played in a number of different positions for the Edinburgh side, made his debut back in 2005.
He told the club website: "I’m delighted to have agreed the new deal – I always wanted to stay with Hibs and the future here looks really bright, so hopefully now I can help the club get promoted.
“Last year was probably my best season at the club. I’ll always be willing to play wherever the manager wants me to play, but it helps playing in the same position week in, week out.
“Left-back is probably my best position – it suits the way I play – and I’ve enjoyed working with the manager. He gives me confidence and belief to play to the best of my ability.”
