Stirling Albion have signed former Stranraer winger Andy Stirling on loan from Dunfermline for the rest of the season.
The ex-East Stirlingshire and Stenhousemuir man has made 15 league appearances for the Pars in 2014/15 – seven starts and eight as a substitute – and one of his two goals came against the Binos in November.
Manager Stuart McLaren told the club website: “In adding Andy to the squad, we have gained a player who is a proven performer in SPFL League 1 and, in all honesty, has the potential to play at a higher level.
“His signing means we have another player who can provide quality in attacking areas along with a winning desire. We are also working very hard to strengthen the squad with the addition of a defender or two.
“We are in discussions with a number of players and their clubs and are looking to come to an agreement ahead of Saturday’s trip to Airdrie.”
