Stranraer have signed midfielder Stephen Stirling until the end of the season after he featured as a trialist against Dunfermline on Saturday.
The 24-year-old former Rangers and Stirling Albion player was at Stair Park during the 2011/12 season before moving to Morton.
A broken leg hampered his progress and he was released by new Cappielow boss Kenny Shiels, allowing Aitken to add him to his promotion-chasing squad.
