Stokes on target for Hibs, Falkirk held

Liam Henderson and John McGinn had Hibs 2-0 up and Anthony Stokes marked his return to Easter Road with a late third goal after Stevie Mallan had pulled one back.

Falkirk slipped to third spot after being held to a 1-1 draw at Livingston. The Bairns went ahead through Craig Sibbald but Liam Buchanan equalised early in the second half.

Iain Russell's first-half goal earned Queen of the South a 1-0 home victory over bottom club Alloa Athletic and moved them level on points with fourth-placed Raith Rovers, who drew 0-0 with Dumbarton at Stark's Park.
