Stranraer have ended their interest in former Raith Rovers striker Jamie Watson who had played for the Blues in pre-season. The 19 year old was released by the Kirkcaldy side at the end of May and scored for Stranraer in pre-season games against Bangor and Blyth Spartans however manager Stephen Aitken has decided not to offer a deal.
Aitken said: “Jamie came in and did well but he is not quite what we are looking for. We wish him well and hope he gets a new club soon.”
