Striker Moore hangs up his boots

Mr Stranraer opts to retire

Striker Michael Moore who played for Stranraer three times in a career that started at Hamilton Accies back in 1998 and has also had stops at St. Johnstone, Ayr United and Dumbarton is hanging up his boots.

The 33 year old, who netted 94 times for the Blues in nearly 300 games, played last season with Kilbirnie Ladeside however he has now decided to retire.

Moore said: “I have had a 16 year career and really enjoyed it especially my three stints at Stranraer. The time feels right now to call it a day.”
