Caley Thistle have signed midfielder Greg Tansey from Stevenage until the end of next season.
The 25-year-old former Stockport player was with Inverness CT during the 2011/12 campaign and has now returned to the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium.
Boss John Hughes, who has released Curtis Allen and Torbjorn Agdestein, said: “We are delighted to secure the services of Greg, who will add to the strength in depth within our squad.
"We faced tough competition to get him on board from down south, and from clubs within the SPFL, but we are very pleased he has chosen to join us.”
