Team of the Week

Craig Fowler from A View from the Terrace names his SPFL XI after the weekend's games...

GK - Kevin Dabrowski (Raith Rovers)

When the Rovers keeper is at his best he can pull off some spectacular stops, as evidenced in his side's 2-0 victory over rivals Dunfermline Athletic in the cinch Championship on Saturday. The former Hibs stopper made an outrageous, one-handed save to deny Ewan Otoo and maintain his team's 1-0 lead.

DEF - Wullie Gibson (Annan Athletic)

Gibson is able to play in both defence and midfield and his battling performance for Annan against his former employers, Queen of the South, means he's earned his place in this XI. The 2-1 win moved Annan to within four points of Queens in the battle to avoid ninth place in cinch League 1.

DEF - Luke Graham (Montrose)

An aggressive showing from the defender helped Montrose to pick up all three points with a very impressive 4-1 away win at Cove Rangers. The Mo' are now motoring along, winning six of their last seven in cinch League 1.

DEF - Andy Munro (Forfar Athletic)

Forfar took a big step towards safety in cinch League 2 after coming from behind to defeat Clyde 2-1 at Station Park. With eight games remaining, the Loons are now up into sixth place, 10 points above Clyde in the standings.

MID - Taylor Steven (Alloa Athletic)

The on-loan St Johnstone player scored one and set up another as Alloa bounced back from defeat to Montrose last time out to record a comfortable 3-0 home win over Kelty Hearts.

MID - John Lundstram (Rangers)

The most impressive player in blue as Rangers defeated Hibs 2-0 on Sunday night to book a place in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup. Lundstram scored the opener, reacting quickest to finish off the rebound after James Tavernier missed a penalty, and had an imposing game in the centre for Philippe Clement's side.

MID - Graeme Shinnie (Aberdeen)

A goal and a throwback performance from Aberdeen skipper Shinnie helped the Dons end Neil Warnock's spell in charge with a 3-1 victory over Kilmarnock to secure another trip to Hampden.

MID - Michael Dangana (Elgin City)

Elgin edged out Bonnyrigg Rose 1-0 at Borough Briggs with Dangana scoring a spectacular looping volley. He was a big threat throughout the match and is worthy of his spot in this side.

FWD - Tony Watt (Dundee United)

Two goals from the attacker helped United easily overcome Arbroath on Saturday and maintain their place at the top of the cinch Championship table.

FWD - Cillian Sheridan (Queen’s Park)

Sheridan has proved to be quite the signing since arriving from Inverness CT. The Irishman scored one and set up another in the 2-2 draw with Partick Thistle to continue his excellent start to life with the Spiders.

FWD - Daizen Maeda (Celtic)

A hat-trick from the Japanese attacker was pivotal in Celtic making it to the Scottish Cup semi-finals as Brendan Rodgers' men beat Livingston 4-2 in an entertaining tie. For his heroics in what was his 100th Celtic appearance, Maeda is this week's Star Man.
