Matty Yates scored the winner and was man of the match in Stenny's 1-0 triumph over Montrose however Jamieson deserves a mention, and place in this side for a fantastic early save to keep his team in the match.
DEF – Aaron Comrie (Dunfermline Athletic)
The versatile defender was easily his side's most impressive player on the day as Dunfermline Athletic recorded a huge result in the William Hill Championship, defeating Airdrieonians 1-0 at East End Park to move seven points clear of the Diamonds at the bottom.
DEF – Michael Nottingham (Livingston)
The second-tier title race is very much on after Livingston defeated leaders Falkirk 1-0 in Almondvale to cut the gap to three points. Nottingham was a colossus at the back and contributed to the attack with some accurate diagonal passes.
DEF – Cammy Clark (Dumbarton)
The energetic full-back played a key role down the left flank as Dumbarton were able to defeat Queen of the South 2-1 at the Rock thanks to an injury-time Tony Wallace penalty.
MID – Mark McKenzie (Ayr United)
Ayr United returned to winning ways in the second tier with a 3-2 home victory over Queen's Park as they were able to withstand a late fightback from the visitors. McKenzie was terrific down the right-hand side, including netting the opening goal.
MID – Charlie Gilmour (Inverness CT)
Inverness now have consecutive wins in William Hill League 1 (both over the team previously in first place). Gilmour impressed during the 1-0 win over Alloa Athletic.
MID – Ray Grant (Clyde)
Clyde got themselves a long-awaited victory and the first of the Darren Young era to move off the bottom of the William Hill League 2 table. The Bully Wee bettered East Fife at New Douglas Park with Grant playing a starring role in the centre.
MID – Scott Robinson (Partick Thistle)
Two goals and an assist from the experienced performer helped Partick Thistle to a confidence-boosting 5-1 victory over Hamilton Accies. Results for the Jags have been much improved of late with Kris Doolan's team now unbeaten in seven games.
FWD – Connor Young (Edinburgh City)
This week's Star Man comes from William Hill League 2 and for the third time this season it's City's goalscoring hero. Young netted all three of his team's goals as Michael McIndoe's men continue to impress as they defeated Peterhead 3-2 away from home.
FWD – Filip Stuparevic (Greenock Morton)
Two goals from the on-loan Motherwell man sent Morton on their way to victory at Raith Rovers. Stuparevic has scored in both games against Rovers this season and has earned his spot in this XI.
FWD – Scott Williamson (Kelty Hearts)
Kelty Hearts are back on top of the pile in William Hill League 1 after a 2-0 win away to Annan Athletic. Williamson was a nightmare for the hosts to handle with his physicality and tireless running. He bagged himself a goal and an assist in the victory.
