Ayr United have signed Alan Trouten on a two-year deal from Brechin City.
The attacking midfielder, who has also played for Queen's Park, returns to Somerset Park for a second spell after being shortlisted for PFA Scotland League 1 Player of the Year in 2014/15.
Boss Ian McCall told Ayr website: "Alan was one of my key signing targets - he won't be played as a winger and his goals tally will take pressure off the strikers."
