Dundee United boss Jackie McNamara has signed former FC United of Manchester winger Justin Johnson on a three-year deal.
He told the club website: "We see great potential in Justin. He is fast, direct and entertaining. There is a lot of hard work ahead but we now have a chance to develop him into a first-team player at Dundee United."
Johnson, 19, has had some experience with the club's development team but has now signed a professional deal and said: "I want to grow as a footballer and believe this is the place for me.
"Although other clubs showed interest in me, the way I have been treated and involved in my time here was an important factor in signing a contract.”
