Dundee United began 2015 in style with a 6-2 win over neighbours Dundee at Tannadice on New Year's Day.
Stuart Armstrong diverted the ball past keeper Arvid Schenk to give Jackie McNamara's men the lead after just 31 seconds but Greg Stewart equalised direct from a free-kick in 24 minutes.
A Gary Mackay-Steven double and a Chris Erskine goal had United 4-1 up at the interval and Jaroslaw Fojut headed the fifth goal from a corner before substitute Charlie Telfer added the sixth in the closing stages. Luka Tankulic pulled one back for Paul Hartley's team in the final minute.
