Dundee United booked their place in the last 16 of the Betfred Cup with a 2-0 win over Dunfermline Athletic at Tannadice on Sunday.
Simon Murray opened the scoring early in the second half and Scott Fraser sealed the victory with a terrific free-kick in the closing stages.
Ray McKinnon's men will now face Partick Thistle at Tannadice in the second round on August 9/10 after finishing as one of the four best runners-up.
